Fullmetal Alchemist 42-45

First of all, I see we've made it to the fourth opening and closing sequences. I don't like the opening music as much as the last one, and the closing music isn't that great either, but the visuals! When did everybody get so hot? (Dude, Roy so did not use to be anything but funny-lookin'. Am shocked.) Anyway, I don't have much to say on these episodes, because I spent most of the time being too amazed by things to have much coherent thought. But even so...

Episode 42:

I have only one word to say, and that word is WOW.


Episode 43:

Hey, it's Hohenheim! Aww, he's cute. Probably needs a hug.

Yeah, so I wasn't expecting the thing with Al. And wasn't spoiled for it, either! See, I can avoid spoilers!

Aww, Hohenheim really is cute. And Winry doesn't hate Roy. And Winry's mom's last name isn't capitalized on her headstone.

Tee hee. Breda and Falman are bouncy balls. Ed = Harry Potter.

Ah, Winry and Scieszka and their harebrained schemes.

Awwwww, Roy is Ed and Al's daddy!


Episode 44:

I'm getting a bit tired of Rose. Is she going to add more to the story, or what? And if so, it had better be good.

Hahahaha oh Armstrong is awesome.

Broche! Cutest! Thing! Ever! Except for, like, all the other stuff on FMA that's the cutest thing ever, but he can be among all those cute things. Because if there was Subtext before with him and Maria Ross, I totally forgot about it during the two months since I watched sixteen episodes in one night. See, this is the silver lining to seeing half of the show all at once and then being deprived of the last quarter for the longest damn winter break of all time: I get to rediscover subtext!

Hm. So Dante...and Hohenheim...and time-traveling...Well, that explains a lot.


Episode 45:

Right. This is the shippiest episode yet. I may have to watch it again, because dude, everyone is adorable! Also, Ed is almost naked! I see Izumi is back too, which is very exciting.
