Well, Media Player plays [livejournal.com profile] octopedingenue's FMA episodes just fine, so I've watched through 38 now. [livejournal.com profile] octopedingenue, you are a BIG LIAR. There is a DEAD BIRD in episode 35. I thought it was okay when whatshisname brought it back to life after about eight seconds, but then it randomly died again and there was a nice closeup of its lifeless little body. Nyah.

But on to more pressing matters.

Things I Have Observed
-Hawkeye is awesome
-I actually had never been spoiled for the spoilery stuff (Wrath being Izumi's son and so forth) that happens in this interval. Hooray!
-Episode 37 is the best episode of anything. Ever.
-The series is doing a lot more of those anime visual jokes than they used to. It makes sense; I assume it's because now that the plotline is established, they can use humor more offhandedly. I find it endearing.
-Seriously though, Hawkeye kicks ass. And is my FMA girlfriend.

I just really, really like all the characters. All of them. Isn't it great when that happens? Okay, maybe not, considering what I've heard about the--er--ruthlessness in this particular show, but even so.

ETA: I wish to renew my earlier observation that Ed is Really, Really Hot. And also jailbait. But if perving on him is wrong, well...clearly I'm not going to be right.
