logicbuttonDragon*Con is next week! My college friends and I will be able to do things that friends who actually live in the same state can do, like...eat in each other's presence! And...elbow the shit out of each other whenever we see a dude with three ponytails! My excitement is reaching CRITICAL MASS. I'm also taking off the day before I leave so I can go to the State Fair, which I guess is also my answer to the current Writer's Block question ("What's one thing that you love to do all by yourself?").
I've got a bit of a cold at the moment, so I'm currently living on Zicam and vitamin C so as to avoid infecting the 170,000 people I'll be coming into contact with next week. Here is a wrapper from one of my vitamin C drops.
I see this as a cultural artifact more than anything else. Like, those inspirational sayings on Dove chocolates are part of their branding, I think, but cheesy stuff like this on vitamins? We must be pretty damn depressed as a culture.
