A Somalian-American guy who won the 3rd district of Minneapolis school board election is apparently the first Somali in American public office ever, though, so that's pretty cool.
ETA: FUUUUUUUCK there might be a recount for Dayton and Emmer! Nooooooooo! No more recounts! Franken/Coleman was only two years ago. We are still recovering.
