Hey, do any of you own this backpack? It's the red and black Swiss Army laptop backpack, which I know because I own it myself. Along with, like, everybody else in the world. Seriously, I see it around on a semi-regular basis. One time, I saw two different people with it at the airport. Not that I blame everyone for owning it, though, because it's definitely the most kickass backpack I've ever had.

Being insane, I decided that going to the Mall of America on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon would be a good idea. Despite the dead bird on the side of the freeway, though, everything turned out pretty well. I triumphed over the adversity of not being about to remember the author's name and found the first translated Haruhi Suzumiya novel at Barnes and Noble (Nagaru Tanigawa, for future reference). The translation is pretty okay. Definitely better than the wiki. Not that I didn't appreciate the wiki.

I also got a second set of piercings in my ears! You know how sometimes, you're like, "Damn, I'm an adult. I can do whatever the hell I want, within reason"? This was one of those times.
