YAY BLACK CAT
Oct. 3rd, 2006 01:10 amI have Tuesday and Wednesday off from work this week. I'm going to the firsties' party day! And trivia night!
For those of you who at one point hung around Agnes Scott and don't anymore, this year's firsties are adorable. At least, the ones in my Japanese class are, and those are the only ones I know. They did a really kickass job of the third floor of Alston, too. I feel kind of pathetic for wanting to participate in Black Cat even though I've graduated, but you know what? It's one of my favorite things about ASC.* I'm still a student here, so why shouldn't I have fun? Anyway, I work on Thursday and Friday night, so there's no need to determine the appropriateness of getting drunk and going to the bonfire without pants again. Although, for the record, I would probably decide against it.
On a related note, there needs to be another verse in that one song. For fifth years. "All hail to the fifth years/And may they get lives" perhaps.
Damn, if the first episode of Death Note gets torrented by Wednesday night, this will have been the best week ever.
*Others include the Pancake Jam (free AYCE breakfast food and the end of the semester; you pretty much can't go wrong) and SpARC, because I am completely serious when I say that I absolutely love going to hear my friends and friendly acquaintances talk about the stuff that interests them but that I've never even thought about. And the math department. *fangirls the math department*
