Well, that's not really what I wanted to state for the record. This is: as of tonight, I've made three comments to pottersues posts that said something along the lines of ( OotP spoiler--in fact, if you haven't read it, just skip the rest of this post )

And yeah, if you ask my opinion on the subject, that's my short answer. But I thought it would also be a good idea to write down my long answer.

Moms say the darnedest things

So my mom's side of the family went to St. Croix State Park this past weekend, and stayed together in one of the guesthouses. Much fun was had by all, except when we were being eaten by mosquitoes, which was all the time. Anyway. Yesterday, a bunch of us went canoeing on the St. Croix River. This is the river that forms the Minnesota/Wisconsin border. My aunt and uncle were near my mom and me at one point when my mom shouted, irony-free:

"So which side is Wisconsin, and which side is America?"



"On this side, we have the Land of Opportunity. On this side...Wisconsin."
