The title of my current science class is Topics in Astronomy: Life, the Universe, and Aliens, though a better name for it at the moment might be All Mars Mission, All the Time. Understandably enough. Anyway, the result of this is that anything I see online relating to the Mars mission or rovers piques my interest. But I really wasn't expecting to see something like this pop up in a Fandom Wank thread:
Dear, I think you need to move up to a better class of robot. Those industrial robots may LOOK all rough and brutish, but their welding torches tend to run out of fuel before the last seam, if you know what I mean. Now, those little Mars rovers look like they're packing some serious spectrometers...
And my favorite sentence EVER, from what I suspect was meant to be posted as a comment to that first one:
Actually, I heard those two little rovers are GAY GAY GAY and that's why NASA PR insisted they had to land on opposite sides of the planet.
And from the reply to that:
And have you seen Opportunity's beard? That is, like, the ugliest, bitchiest robo EVER and I don't see how anyone could see anything in him.
I love the internet.
