logicbuttonSo tell me, what exactly is the logic behind thinking it's okay to go into Target and start trying to solicit on-the-clock employees to buy Mary Kay? No, really.
She made this big deal out of how I didn't even look anywhere near old enough (18) to do whatever it was she was trying to sign me up to do. I mean, okay, it doesn't really bother me that much, and I understand that the t-shirt + beat-up shoes + messy ponytail combination doesn't really make my young-looking face look any older, but it was tiresome, and not exactly the compliment she seemed to think it was. ("So how old are you really?" "Twenty-two." "Oh. Congratulations!" --what?) It did help me not feel too bad about getting her promptly kicked out. Oh, wait, except I didn't feel bad about it to begin with, either.
Seriously, though. On what level could it have seemed like an appropriate thing to do?
