First, This is in no way directed at Kira supporters or Light fans, or anyone who predicted that he would win. I promise. I love Light. Well, I love to hate him. But seriously, I do love him as a character. I also promise that this should in no way indicate the presence of any sour grapes still remaining from chapter 58 (though if there were, man, would they ever be sour).

With that in mind, LIGHT'S DEAD LIGHT'S DEAD LIGHT'S DEAD HAHAHAHAHAHA PWNED.

gweniveeve and I were just talking about how much the picture of dead!Light reminded us of the picture of dead!L (or resting!L, as the case may be). We think this was intentional, but that's even more reason to come up with some kind of artistic juxtaposition of the two, as far as I'm concerned. But how...
