While getting ice cream in the dining hall tonight, I noticed that the "vanilla" coming out of the machine looked suspiciously dark and peach-like, and that the stuff on the "peach" side looked suspiciously pale and vanilla-like. So I thought, "oh crap, they've got them mixed up," and lifted the handle, but my cup was already almost full. Nothing against peach ice cream, it's just that I was going to put Heath bars in it. So I got another cup and filled it up with ice cream from the other side of the machine, added liberal amounts of Heath bar, and left the dining hall carrying both cups. I really hate wasting food, but there's no way I was going to eat two cups of ice cream, and I wasn't about to start offering the other one to random passersby. So I threw it away. As I was walking away from the trash can, about to start eating the one I had kept, I thought, "wait a minute, this ice cream is indeed pale, but the tint is pinkish..."

It turns out that Peach Heath Bar Crunch is surprisingly not terrible, not that I'll be eating it again on purpose. Which is good, because I would have eaten it no matter what--throwing away two full cups of ice cream would probably send me into conniptions.

On a completely unrelated note (just because I don't like to spam Livejournal), I responded to [livejournal.com profile] mjules's request for fic challenges, and she gave me a lovely PWP OT4 ficlet! OT4 being, of course, Roy/Hawkeye/Hughes/Gracia. ♥
