Cheap ego boost? Why, yes!
Jan. 15th, 2006 01:18 amWell, at least I'm doing something right.
Okay, you know what? I'm going to make it a priority to make the following icons: math-related, flute-related, yay/squee, Harry Potter in some other context than parody of that temporary-uterus fic, Yami no Matsuei, Princess Tutu, and Monster. I'd make more Hawkeye icons too, but, uh, I think I've run out of facial expressions. Unfortunately. Oh! And I'm going to get that Boondocks one down to 40kb. Hey, maybe that could be my squee icon, too! [EDIT: I could also seriously do with an "*is helpful!*" icon.]
I'm listening to the Princess Tutu soundtrack right now, and it is just overwhelming me with the charming. Like, I can't even express in words just how adorable this soundtrack is. It's also performed entirely by "real" instruments--though really, how could it be anything else?--and that is honestly what makes or breaks a soundtrack for me. Sorry, Fruits Basket. I love you, but even your soundtrack's cello solo was so obviously synth that it broke my heart. :( Anyway, it's been a few months since I watched Princess Tutu, and I really think I might need to see it again.
