weltreisender is a very cute kitten mommy. But how could she not be, with such a cute kitten? Even if that picture is a few months old, and he is now five times bigger. He's also incredibly cuddly, possibly the second-cuddliest cat I have ever known, after a cat named X who weighed about thirteen pounds and thought he was a dog.

It was great seeing weltreisender too, of course. We had some lovely bonding experiences, like driving to Kmart at 9 to get oven cleaner, because baking cookies doesn't go well when the honey glaze that turns out to have been spilled all over the bottom of the oven a few days earlier is causing the apartment to fill with smoke. The cookies ended up being excellent, though. I actually hadn't had chocolate since New Year's, and before that, since Christmas. Anyway, she also made a very good dinner. While we were sitting around waiting for it to finish cooking, I had the opportunity to watch the cat try to jump into my lap and slide off.
