So I had this dream this morning...

...in which Bush was re-elected. But not the Bush you're thinking of, no, it was Bush Senior. Unfortunately, Mr. Bush had been having some health problems since he left office the last time, which were never fully described--I believe it was a blood disease of some sort. But it was treatable, if in a rather unusual way: part of his therapy involved wearing metal jewelry. Gold and pewter hoop earrings, to be specific. Anyway, to deal with the added stresses of presidency, this treatment needed to be adjusted slightly. One of the earrings would now have to be seven feet in diameter, to be specific. And although my brain decided at this point that seven feet meant more like five feet, because it only went down to his ankle, the mental picture was simply too priceless not to be shared via LJ.
