logicbuttonWhat the hell is this sleep schedule. Ah well, I got about five or six hours this evening already; maybe I'll just get up and go to work. I'm too wired from watching the Homestuck update to go back to bed just yet. Speaking of which, Homestuck updated.
I...I got a lot of feelings right now, guys.

Edit @ 7:42 am: The new album's out too now! SO MANY FEELINGS. Holy crap, it's over two hours long without the bonus tracks. My birthday's not for another three weeks, guys!

So I guess Descend was where the rocks fell, but Cascade was where everyone died. A list of people who didn't die would be shorter. It would consist of PM, I guess, and Jack. And John, for once.
I notice that all the living Derse dreamers are now together. It would be cool if they could all be god tier, too...surely this is the perfect time for a Doom quest cocoon to suddenly appear. Shouldn't Sollux have extra quest beds, anyway? I also notice that all the living trolls on the meteor are Prospit dreamers. Maybe they could meet up with John and Jade before they all go to the Green Sun. OH. I just realized, the Sollux on the meteor is about to die, and if we've learned anything from the update, it's that there's no time limit on your realself's death (Jade's already dead? Just toss her on there anyway! Rose and Dave? Hoodies for all!) as long as your dreamself is alive...to...die. Who's mad expendable now, Dave? And of course Sollux has been a dreamself ever since he entered the Medium.
Anyway, I'm sure all of this has been thoroughly discussed in the *checks* 77-page discussion thread on the forums. Like hell I'm wading through that, although I did skim the first couple pages. Apparently the flash crashed Newgrounds within ten minutes of being posted. It looks like maybe the forums crashed briefly too?
AUGH my feelings. I listened to the album at work today. It's not the best Homestuck album, although that's kind of like saying "it's not the best batch of freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies," and it did grow on me the second time through. That always happens. I think maybe I'm always disappointed with new albums on my first listen because they're not, like, two dozen remixes of Ruins or whatever it is I'm expecting. But I did download it when I got home and then put nine of the new songs in my favorites playlist, so we'll see how that works out. I might have to take Do You Remem8er Me out if I can't get over this urge to burst into tears every time it starts. So cheesy, and yet so pretty. Oh, I might have to do the same for Galactic Cancer. What is it about Karkat that is just so dang heartbreaking? In this case it might be the song art. Yes, I think it's probably the song art.
