I am the worst depression-era housewife ever. I assume this is all because I admitted to walking around the house in stocking feet.

ETA: Oh no, it turns out I'm an even worse depression-era husband! I thought giving my wife an ample allowance or turning my paycheck over to her was going to score me some points, but I guess it wasn't enough.
