Despite having just come from another eight-hour shift during which I took no paid breaks (which is definitely not allowed, but we were so understaffed this afternoon that I really had no choice) and my next day off being nowhere in sight, I am in a fantastically good mood. This is because today, I ran the electronics boat, and when I run the electronics boat, I have a set of electronics keys that get me into the locked drawers and glass cases, and when I have a set of electronics keys, I feel like GOD. YOU WANT GRAND THEFT AUTO FOR PSP, PUNK? YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Also, I got some lovely compliments on my work, both from coworkers and guests (one woman said I had just given her the best customer service she had ever gotten at Target, which actually flattered me less than it disturbed me, because I had only shown her how to go about choosing a cigarette lighter cell phone charger. It kind of made me wonder what kind of asstacular service she had gotten in the past).

Also, I get to carry around the electronics boat phone and tell people who call the store whether we have Madea Goes to Jail (yes) and whether we have Naruto for PS2 (not yet, which is weird, because we have it for Gamecube) without having to rely on those damn corded phones that you have to put down to go check on things and hope nobody comes along and hangs it up. Seriously though, everybody wants to know about Naruto and the Tyler Perry movies.
