gweniveeve and clodia_risa and myrtlelarson and octopedingenue, right? And we all just graduated from college, and of course our parents were all there. Now, our parents have met each other before, and get along famously, and they'd all been herded into the alumnae garden to take pictures of us, so we had this fun idea--hey, why not dress our moms up and put them all into a picture together?
The pictures turned out great. However, the joke went a little too far, and they ended up looking like a window into the future. No, really. It's scary. I'm scared. So, naturally, I'm posting my favorite* so that those of you who know us IRL can be frightened too, and those of you who don't can aww at the cute of five fifty-ish women wearing partial graduation uniforms and holding diplomas. I'm not telling who's whose mom, partly for fun, and partly because this is a public post, and...damn, if I label it, I might as well just post pictures of the five of us and label those.

My mom put all the pictures from when they were down here on Photobucket so that I could see them, and when I requested a high-res version of this one so that I could print and frame it, and told her so, she e-mailed me back with "That's the nicest thing you could ever say to me," and neglected to include the picture. So I had to e-mail her to ask her for it again. But now I've got it, and it's printed and in a 5x7 frame, and we're going to put it somewhere in the common space of the apartment. We ♥ our moms.
