Ice cream just makes it worse

Ohhh my head. I'm from Minnesota, dammit. I was not built for this inescapable heat. At least in Atlanta, air conditioning is plentiful, and it is expected that institutes of learning will air condition, if nothing else, their damn computer labs, so that students who are trying to write their final essays do not develop lethargy and headaches. I think later I'll go try to find one of them newfangled air-conditioned Straßenbahns and just ride around the city for awhile.

In other news, I have just discovered that Joaquin Rodrigo, the composer of the piece I'm attempting to write a ten-page paper analyzing, spent a few years living in Freiburg during the Spanish Civil War. I was all, hey, Freiburg, I know where that is! Apparently he and his wife taught music and Spanish out of the institute for the blind here, and were considered "Spanish refugees." This will be going in the paper. I'm sure it's relevant somehow.
