My icons don't have to suck anymore! (Whether they do anyway is a different matter entirely.)

As of very early this morning, I finally have a decent image editor in the form of the GIMP. So today, while everyone else was starting classes, I sat on my bed and played with my digital photos and FMA screencaps. At least I got some icons out of it.

And then I made some colorbars. I'll just put them here, since I have no idea what the hell I'd do with them otherwise.

In conclusion, as I was just saying in scottiegirlc's journal, WAAAH I WISH I WERE BACK IN GEORGIA. Home is good, and Germany will be too, but...gah...

Ooh, ooh! Turns out there's a strange sort of pride in seeing untranslated yaoi manga scanned into a livejournal comment and instantly recognizing the characters. ("Hey, it's Kizuna! ...Okay, this has sooo not been released in English yet, because I would have remembered them doing that.")
