Thoughts

For the past couple of months, it has been impossible to get an actual glass of milk in the dining hall. When there is milk in the dispensers, the little needle on the door always seems to be pointing to the "danger zone". This is not cool. Does the school not realize that I'm going to develop osteoporosis at the age of 35 and have to pay my medical bills instead of donating money to them? It probably wouldn't matter anyway, of course, if all my donations were tagged for the German department (assuming they haven't run out of crack by then and still have no department, which FTR is still not officially decided, but I am being uncharacteristically pessimistic). Not that I'm still bitter or anything. [/bitter]

So today I went to Emory, because I enjoy intense frustration. Coincidentally, I also had to return a library book that had been recalled. Traffic was very predictable in its suckage. You never really realize just how many ways to turn left there are in Decatur until you get stuck behind someone at every single one of them. Though to be fair, the Emory experience itself was actually quite pleasant today.

In other news, I think I'm a regular at the Caribou here. Go me! Although word on the street is that I'll have to start tipping more if I want the slightly oxymoronic Special Regular Status(tm).
