FMA chapter 95

logicbuttonI had a Chipotle burrito for dinner. I don't even like Chipotle all that much; it's their stupid new radio ad campaign that's getting me. I'm just driving along, minding my own business, when one of those ads comes on, and it's not like they're doing anything exciting; it's just guys talking about what they put in their burritos, and I'm all "mmm, sour cream" and the next thing I know, I'm like, oh god, I want a burrito. I am so mad at myself right now.
The new chapter of FMA is out! Even though the wait seemed shorter this month (as it does when you spend it marathoning the anime and then doing a full reread of the manga), it still couldn't come out fast enough. Oh, hey, according to an interview Arakawa gave, the ending is going to be a bit farther off than she was planning. Yay! So maybe it'll be more than a hundred chapters. Anyway, reactions to the new one!
Dude what is this scene at the beginning. All this Power of Humanity stuff is making me feel like I'm reading a Harry Potter book. Why is everyone talking about their feelings? Also, screw you, Hawkeye; "Don't go where I can't follow" is one of those lines that gets me every damn time, and you just had to go and say it all heartbreaking-like. Also! Way to go, Hawkeye's father, you son of a bitch. This is all your fault. You raised your daughter to live for you, and then when she couldn't do that anymore she went off to live for Roy, and now she's threatening to kill herself if she's forced to kill him, which she is only considering in the first place because she made a promise to him, and it's so fucking creepy I think I need to take a shower. Hawkeye, that was really creepy of you. Never say that again. Roy, I am very angry with you right now. You made Scar take a position of calm, sane rationality. What have you DONE? Envy! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? Are you CRYING? WHAT IS GOING ON? Thank God for Ed. Could you imagine what would have happened if Ed hadn't been around? Good lord.

...Roy and Hawkeye, I am extremely annoyed with you both right now! Don't even think about trying to get on my good side with your blatant, blatant shippiness!
Okay, now let's make up for that ridiculous scene with some Armstrong action. "At the very least, fewer of us will be eaten alive!" Heh. Man, I'm so glad Olivia's finally giving Alex some credit. He totally deserves it! I mean, did you see what he just did? Fixing your dislocated shoulder by punching a Homunculus is at least on the level of this epic badassery in chapter 106 of Death Note. And credit to Olivia as well, for just kind of putting herself in charge of the troops sent to kill her like it's no big deal.
Oh snap, I love how Falman is such a liability to the bad guys. Go Falman!
Izumi appears to be genre-savvy. The list of characters that are is getting longer. I'm a little bit in love with her expression on the last page; she just looks so excited about doing her thing. I'm excited too!
