What I did today

weltreisender came over today, which was lovely. She gave Wii Music a chance and was pleasantly surprised to find that she enjoyed it. I wish more people were like her.

After she left, I went to the mall and got some fabulous shoes for gweniveeve's wedding. They're absolutely perfect for the dress, they're not too uncomfortable, and they were on clearance for $25. I win.


The picture of the shoes is a little dark, so the color isn't exact, but you get the idea. Aren't they completely fabulous?

While I was at the mall, I also bought America (The Book) Teacher's Edition, which I saw last time I was at Barnes & Noble but didn't buy because I don't buy a lot of books. But this time I thought, hey, books that make me laugh out loud on every page I skim don't come along too often, and then I looked at the back and found that it only cost a dollar more than each volume of the Phoenix Wright casebooks. I figured that, if I can spend money on not one, but two volumes of that terrible, terrible crap (I'm serious, guys, don't buy the Phoenix Wright casebooks unless you love Phoenix Wright as much as I do, and maybe don't even touch them unless you have hand sanitizer available), maybe I can afford to buy a book of actual quality that costs about the same.
