Christmas Songs!

This is my annual Christmas Song Post! It's actually been a pretty good year for Christmas songs so far, because I've always had my iPod handy for those times when "Christmas Shoes" comes on the radio at work (which, happily, have been relatively few and far between), and haven't heard it much in the car. Also, I've got Mannheim Steamroller's Celebration CD on the iPod, and four Trans-Siberian Orchestra CDs. You know, even though TSO can be hit and miss with some of their stuff, and all of their music varies pretty widely in quality, it's all at its core music worth listening to. And it's not a constant flow of "YOU are the best Christmas gift ever"/"I'll miss you this Christmas" and uninspired covers of well-known songs, unlike most contemporary holiday music.
Actually, one of the TSO CDs I've been listening to a lot lately isn't Christmas music; it's Beethoven's Last Night. I only have it because the only live torrent for The Lost Christmas Eve was part of a discography, and once that had finished downloading, I got curious, so now I have the album and no context for it whatsoever. I kind of think I might appreciate some context, but on the other hand, maybe there is none, or maybe it might just confuse me more, and anyway I'm lazy...
And, okay, here comes the crazy fandom connection. I mean, yeah, I get that it's about Beethoven (and also Faust? Or Beethoven and Faust? Or maybe Beethoven is Faust? See, I need some context), but I can't help it--I keep imagining that it's about a repentant Manfred von Karma, and it is BREAKING MY HEART. Perhaps...I have been playing too much Phoenix Wright lately? Is such a thing even possible? D:
