Oh, look. Academic Advising just sent out the Year Five application. ABOUT DAMN TIME. I am sick of giving lame answers to people who ask what I'm doing after graduation, because it's thirty-three days till commencement and even saying that I've applied to something is better than "Idunno." Not that I don't secretly love the awkward looks on people's faces when I say that. And the ensuing silence. I'm a bad person.

This "detailed academic plan" that they're looking for--I wonder how word-for-word I can match it to the "proposed program of study" that they also ask me to list. Good thing I know exactly "why [I] want to pursue Year Five Post-Baccalaureate studies, and how this fits with [my] goals and plans for the future," although I suppose I'll have to come up with something longer and more professional-sounding than "HAVING LIMITED INTERNET ACCESS WHILE STUDYING ABROAD MADE ME FORGET THE FUTURE EXISTED; ALSO, I WANT TO GET INTO GRAD SCHOOL AND THEN NOT GET REAMED OUT MY FIRST YEAR PLZ." Perhaps with less capslock, too.

By the by, I'm having a little crisis over not knowing what to give them as my summer address. Who knew that would be the hard part of this application?
