Only six and a half weeks!

clodia_risa is coming to visit at the end of October. I am looking forward to this Halloween more than I have every other Halloween in my life. Combined.

You guys, I'm hard at work on my costume. I still need to get shoes and a scarf and sew a detachable white lapel for my black suit, but otherwise I am totally ready to rock Mia Fey. Check out my magatama!



The magatama and badge are made of Sculpey. Here they are just after baking.



I drew a little set of scales on the badge with a safety pin. It's easier to see in person.



I probably browned it a little more than necessary. Anyway, here are both pieces after I painted them with nail polish. The kind I used for the magatama actually changes color in the sun, so when you bring it outside on a nice day it turns green.





clodia_risa is going to be Diego, so I'm going to make her a badge too. It kind of looks like a loaf of bread in this picture, but it's actually a very pure, sparkly gold. A nice over-the-top color befitting Phoenix Wright.

FMA 99 still hasn't been scanlated. What the heck. I saw some scans and a translation of it, though, so that's something, anyway.
