I didn't find chapter 100 of Death Note until today, because it hadn't been posted at TOWNL's site, and it only just occurred to me to check dn_apples. WTF, TOWNL? Not that I feel entitled or anything; it's just that you're usually so prompt.

Anyway, the chapter as a whole was predictably anticlimactic. But, as in other recently-released chapters of my manga series of choice, the last two pages kicked ass. WAY TO GO NEAR! Only unlike said other recently-released manga chapters, this has NOT inspired me to make icons and wallpapers and everything else I can think of, because where that was hot, this is creepy. Seriously, though, my respect for Near has gone through the roof. At a time when he needs it most, too. Best. Idea. Ever. Go Near!
