Death Note 97 in Fifteen Seconds
In honor of Page 97's eight pages of pictures only, with no dialogue, I have summarized the entire chapter using only the characters' actions. So, barring any actual developments that I won't be aware of until it's been translated, this should be pretty accurate.
I was going to spoiler-cut this, but honestly, there's nothing to be spoiled for. As is Death Note's post-chapter-80-or-so custom. ETA 3/8/06: OH THE IRONY
Near's people: *act businesslike*
Near: *plays* *generally ignores Light* *Mikami's the wave of the future!*
Mikami: *furtive*
Misa: *is five*
Light and Takada: *do absolutely nothing new*
Ide and Matsuda: *talk about frivolous things* *provide low-key comic relief*
Aizawa: *is suspicious* *glares with suspicion*
Light: *has obvious evil look in eyes* *talks on his cell phone of doom*
Aizawa: *SUSPICIOUS GLARE*
Chapter: *ends*
Mello: *iz ded by now, probably*
