An Open Letter
Dear Every Other Female I Saw at the Mall of America Yesterday,
Please understand that I do not consider being a perfectly decent, intelligent person and wearing the extremely fashionable tiered or pleated short skirts to be mutually exclusive. However, I do consider wearing said skirts and not looking incredibly silly to be mutually exclusive. There are plenty of other short skirts out there that don't make your butt look fat and don't make you look like a little girl.

P.S. Those of you with the ugly orange tans? Stop it. You live in Minnesota. We're all Scandinavians here--it's okay to be pale. And if you've still got the tan when I come home in December, I'm getting out the clue-by-four.
