I went back to the emergency room on Saturday night after the heart palpitations started to make me cough. Well, technically, they had been making me cough for two days, but apparently that's how long it takes me to decide to seek medical attention. Even though I really didn't want to go at first, it turned out to be very worthwhile, because we actually caught one on tape this time and the doctors were able to look at it and tell me that it's definitely nothing to worry about. I also had an awesome nurse who kept making my mom and me laugh even though we were in the ER in the middle of the night and drew me a diagram to show me what was going on in my heart. She said that when the palpitations make me cough, the cough kind of resets my heartbeat. Isn't that neat? Hearts are so cool. It reminds me of that episode of House (yes, yes, I know) where the patient of the week is about to go into cardiac arrest or something, but she has some medical condition that allows her to stay conscious while it's happening, so House tells her to cough to keep her heart going.
FMA: Brotherhood gets more and more delightful every week. Next week's the war flashback episode, so perhaps I'll have to find a different word to describe it, but the chapter it's going to cover is the one my default icon comes from, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it's going to be animated.
I made cookies tonight, just for the hell of it. My cookies have been coming out cakier than normal. I wonder if I've been mixing them too much. Either that or my oven is changing. Can ovens do that? Whatever, they're still cookies.
