Holy crap, I went out to go to work and had to brush three inches of snow off my car. And it's still coming down.
The last time I remember having this much snow in October, I recall several of the other kids in my second-grade class announcing that they were planning to go trick-or-treating that night, no matter what.
ETA 11:04 a.m.: And it's STILL snowing. OMG.
