Guys, I don't want to sound like a doomsday prophet or anything, but just in case anything does happen to LJ, I want to remind you that my journalfen username is frenzy, that that's where I'll be in case of nuclear fallout, at least at first, and if the worst happens I'll probably buy a paid account there, so I'll be able to get you a friend code if you want one. On a completely unrelated note, I would like to recommend ljArchive for all your journal backup needs. It's absurdly easy to use and takes up hardly any room on the computer.
Anyway, I totally haven't updated in a million years. Christmas was good. I got a sewing machine (a serger!) and a hollow book, among other things. I spent most of December watching the first four seasons of House, and then watching a bit of the first season of Gilmore Girls (on loan from my cousin--it's her favorite show). Gilmore Girls is actually a pretty good show, as it turns out. Also, you will probably consider taking away my geek license for this, but I had only ever read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and never any of its sequels. So I decided to fix that, and finished the series a couple nights ago. I had heard it had a downer ending, and I guess it did, but it wasn't that bad. I was prepared for much worse. My overall impression is that it's really pretty amazing how the plot could be so all over the place and yet so tightly woven all at once.
