SNOW!!!
I've got the whole weekend off. This might become a semi-regular thing. I KNEW the move to Bizarro World was a good idea.
So today, while I was busy not working, here's what nature was doing:

The tire tracks are from when I went out to get some raspberry ginger ale to go with my Bacardi Razz (a winning combination, by the way; I recommend it). There were an awful lot of dumbfucks out walking in the goddamn street, presumably because that's where the snow was packed down, so they wouldn't be in up to their ankles, OR possibly because they were trying to win Darwin awards. I personally only skidded a little. And may or may not have shouted "WHEEEE!!!" while doing it.
It's PERFECT packing snow. Assuming it's all still there in the evening, I'ma make a snowman tomorrow after my mom and I go to the Pompeii exhibit at the Science Museum. We would have gone today, but we went to my great-uncle's funeral instead. (It's sad that he died, but he was old, and he'd been sick, and he had a good life.) Nice way to spend my first Saturday off in months, but whatever, it was a pretty good time anyway, even if we did have to drive an hour and a half each way through the storm. My grandma asked me if I had the day off because of the weather, which, man, if only retail could work like that.
