Pirkl, who admitted to being a fan of "so-bad-it's-good" movies, is glad the title is back, but she has misgivings about the extent to which New Line allowed fans to reshape the movie. She mentions reports she has read that, after the movie was filmed, New Line responded to fan pressure to push the rating from PG-13 to R.
"It sounds like they put in all kinds of gore and nudity and that line that everyone thought they knew from the movie," Pirkl said.
She's talking about some Jackson dialogue that cannot be printed in this newspaper, the gist of which is that Jackson has had it with snakes on planes and that he thinks snakes enjoy unnatural relations with their own female parents.
